I’m always looking for new ways to boost my views on Medium. More views mean more money. And isn’t that what we’re all aiming for?

Some ways to get more views on your stories can take a fair amount of time to implement. That’s why I’m always happy when I come across simple fixes, like this one.

This shouldn’t take you more than a couple of minutes. You can do it right after you’ve finished reading this article.

What happens when someone likes one of your stories that they just read? Probably, they will consider following you. But first, they’ll head over to your profile to check a few other stories. After all, they’ll want to make sure they have a good reason to follow you.

So, what do they see when they get there? If you still have the standard profile, they’ll see your bio, followed by your latest stories. I don’t know about you, but not all my stories are great. That means that the latest stories they see at the top of your profile might mean they just leave and don’t bother following you?

But what if they could see your most popular stories? That would mean they’re more likely to follow you. Not only that, but they’ll probably read one or more of those stories.

More reads equal more money.

All you have to do to show your most popular stories at the top is to pin them. to do that, you just click the three dots that you’ll find at the end of every story and click “Pin story”.
