You Can Earn $1,000 As A New Writer Starting Today

Don’t let anyone tell you it’s not possible

Image by the author. Yes, that’s me writing a few more stories.

My English teacher never missed a chance to tell me that my writing was average at best. Yet, here I am with my top writer awards and over $1,000 earned. If I can do it, anyone can. Even you, dear reader.

Am I saying that you’ll make $1,000 in your first month? No, I’m not saying that at all. It took me around 3 months to earn $1,000.

You should note that I made that only writing for one platform. If I wrote for more platforms I’d likely have reached the $1,000 mark sooner.

I say this to show you what’s possible. If you know what’s possible you may be motivated to give it a go.

But beware, there are lots of writers out there that try to actively discourage new writers. Maybe they’re frightened of the extra competition. Don’t let them put you off. If you want to give writing a go, then get started.

Are you guaranteed to earn $1,000? No.

Are you guaranteed to earn $100? No.

Earning money from writing is easy for some people and difficult for others. I don’t have any idea who you are so it’s impossible for me to tell if you’re capable of earning money from it or not.

But what I do know is that I’m not a great writer. I also know that I managed to earn $1,000 in under 3 months. You may think that’s not much, but this is just the start of my writing career.

I have just finished a motivational book about how I went from being in debt to reaching financial freedom. It will be released next week. I’m also halfway through an ecommerce guide. Another two books are in the planning stage. By the end of the year, my goal is to be earning $3,000 a month from writing.

Does it take work? Yes, of course, it does. If you don’t have any work ethic, then this might not work for you. Some people may have less time to write due to other commitments, but don’t let that become an excuse. You may genuinely have very limited time to write, but there are plenty of writers that have full-time jobs and families that manage it. If it’s something you really want to do you’ll need to prioritize it. Maybe you’ll need to give up something else from your life. Only you can decide. Do what works best for you.

There are lots of helpful writers that share their earnings. They also show what works for them, what platforms they use, and other helpful tips. Follow them and read as much as you can about their journeys.

Ignore those that say it’s not possible. Just because they didn’t succeed doesn’t mean that you won’t. There are always those that say something is impossible, even while others are succeeding at that same thing.

If you decide to write for money, experiment with a few different platforms and see which one works best for you. Different writing platforms suit different people and different writing styles. Choose wisely. If one doesn’t work out, just move on to another one.

If you decide to write to earn some extra cash I wish you all the best with your journey. Remember that consistency and perseverance will be needed.
